Debt Help House Republican leaders brought forward tonight a package of tax-law changes, the Taxpayer Protection and I.R.S. Accountability Act, timed for the tax-filing season. Critics said the measure included a thinly veiled effort to create a new avenue for unlimited secret campaign donations.

In direct violation of the 1st Amendment, called campaign finance reform bill was passed which will, in effect, put the politicians themselves in charge of the political process and unfairly protect incumbents.
Counseling Debt The debate began a day earlier than planned, after advocates of limiting money in politics began a series of news conferences criticizing the bill. The fight on campaign finance looked as if it would eclipse the taxpayer-friendly measures.

Consolidation Consumer Debt In a news conference and later on the House floor, the debate centered on one element of the I.R.S. bill, a change in disclosure rules that were enacted two years ago to open up the accountability of secretive tax-exempt political groups, both liberal and conservative, that were pouring millions of dollars into campaign advertising.
